Welcome to Face Body Revolution

FEEL BETTER, LOOK BETTER.

Hi, I'm Rosemary

A Holistic Health Practitioner who works in the heart of East London at The Plane Tree in Bethnal Green, London E2 0HU. I also work London-wide for specific events, such as on site work in offices, corporate and pamper events.

My journey into holistic health practices started with reflexology. Feeling burdened by the stresses of work and general fast pace of modern life, I felt drawn to train in this field. I completed my reflexology training in 2005 and qualified as a reflexologist at the International Institute of Reflexology. I'm a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and abide by their code of ethics.

From this first step into the fascinating world of Holistic health practice, I also trained as a practitioner of Indian Champissage (Indian Head Massage), with the late Narendra Mehta, the founder of this therapy.

Other disciplines followed and with each training I have discovered another layer of knowledge and unique ways to support people on their wellness journey.

In 2020 I successfully completed my training to become a Face Yoga Teacher.

Balance

My holistic health treatments can bring bring balance to the body. Stress for example is a common culprit that puts the body out of kilter. My treatments can help release stress, and release imbalances.

Relaxation

We live in a fast paced world. Sometimes we just need to ‘press pause’. My treatments help ease the body into relaxation.

Health

Holistic health treatments cannot claim to ‘cure’, but many people find they are a great asset to health and well-being. If you are concerned about your health, it is strongly recommended to consult your doctor for diagnosis and treatment. None of my treatments are intended as a substitute for medical advice or treatment.

Treatments I offer

Natural Face Lift Massage

Facial Rejuvenation - Benefits may include: Reduced wrinkles, habitual expression lines & under-eye puffiness, improved skin tone and complexion, better blood & lymphatic circulation, increased elimination of toxins, brighter & more alert eyes, relief of stress-related symptoms – headaches, eyestrain, insomnia

The innovative Natural Facelift Massage has all the benefits of conventional massage therapies; however, it is exceptional and unique by providing many other physical benefits. The treatment may improve skin tone and your complexion may look brighter. Your skin may have renewed elasticity, and reduced sagging and puffiness.

Natural Facelift Massage is a safe, natural, non-invasive therapy which does not use creams, oils or machinery, just precise techniques on the skin. The treatment may restore skin suppleness by toning the collagen and elastin fibres. In addition, the treatment tones the area and releases facial stress and tension.

This is a photo before the start of a course of 6 treatments. The skin around the eyes is drooping, the jowl area is sagging, and the face in general looks tired:

This is a photo after the 6th treatment, with great results:

the eyes have widened, the jowl area is more toned, and the complexion is visibly clearer.

Indian Head Massage/Champissage

Champi means head massage in Hindi. A wonderful and relaxing treatment. Benefits may include: Relief from neck and shoulder stiffness, helps relieve tension headaches, eye-strain, improved concentration and clearer thinking, helps with insomnia and promotes a good night’s sleep, helps alleviate mental tiredness and promotion of hair growth.

Champissage is a therapy that is based on ancient massage and energy balancing techniques passed on through generations in the Indian sub-continent.

Champissage works specifically on the head, neck, shoulders and upper back – areas where tension is likely to accumulate. The subcutaneous muscles are toned and tension is relieved.

No need to undress. This is a seated massage on a chair.

Reflexology

A great treatment to improve and maintain wellbeing. Reflexology is based on the principle that there is a map of the body on the feet (and also hands and ears) with ‘reflex areas’ that correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body.

Reflexology is a unique method of using the thumb and fingers on these reflex areas.

As a reflexologist I work on the feet, and areas of tension or congestion can be worked on to help release imbalances.

Reflexology cannot claim to diagnose, prescribe or cure any specific condition. However it may help ease many issues including back pain, sleep problems, digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances, infertility, pregnancy. I have had specialist training in Maternity Reflexology.

Kansa Vatki Foot Massage

The Kansa Vatki Foot Massage is an Ayurvedic treatment from India which has been used for centuries.

This is a wonderful and unique treatment that works holistically to balance mind body and spirit. The massage aims to revitalise tired feet. Also it helps to re-balance tri-dosha (vata, pitta, kapha), as there are major energy and nerve endings in the feet that correspond to internal organs.

The kansa vatki is a small metal bowl containing zinc and copper which works on the feet and lower limbs during the treatment. The combination of copper and zinc has a powerful effect on the body’s energies, and is said to be more effective than gold and silver.

The Kansa Vatki Foot Massage also treats particular ‘marma points’. These are areas which create energy channels to various internal organs and doshas in the body. By working on the marma points in the feet, this treatment helps you rebalance your own innate energy.

Physical benefits may include: Relaxation of tired feet, improved blood and lymph circulation, better joint mobility in the lower limbs, helps relieve eyestrain/tired eyes, helps detoxify the internal organs, lowers Vata (Vata leads the other doshas and may be the first dosha to become imbalanced). Lowering Vata can help prevent disease and increases strength and stamina in lower limbs.

Mental benefits may include: Reduction of stress, anxiety, depression, good sleep, increasing prana (life force energy), balancing the body’s innate energy.

NB This is not reflexology! I am also a qualified reflexologist, and the Kansa Vatki Foot Massage uses completely different techniques to those which I use in reflexology.

Reiki

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a gentle yet extremely powerful ancient art of hands on healing. It means universal life energy.

Reiki evolved from Japan via the work of Dr Usui, a distinguished scholar. Dr Usui developed reiki from ancient sources after many years of research.

The practitioner is a channel for this universal life energy. The practitioner places their hands on or above the person’s body, sequentially. The energy goes to where it is most needed in the body. Reiki works through clothing and treatment is carried out with the person fully dressed and lying down. The person may receive the energy as heat, coolness, tingling.

Reiki works to provide healing for the mind body and spirit – and can be useful for all physical health problems and can also deal with stress, anxiety and depression. It can act as a catalyst in the healing of injuries. (Acute problems tend to heal more quickly than chronic ones.)

After the treatment you may feel, relaxed, energised, or a little tired. Also some emotions may be experienced and these are likely to be an effect of the healing process. These symptoms will soon pass.

I am a qualified reiki practitioner having received first and second (advanced) degree trainings from the Usui Reiki Network, an international organisation with teaching centres in Europe, America, Asia and Australia.

Face Yoga

Face Yoga is a fun and unique way of exercising the muscles in our face, just as we would exercise our body. This can lead to improved tone, reduced sagging and lines in our face. No chemicals, injections or fillers involved. And Face Yoga doesn’t just involve physical exercises, it engages with mind, body and spirit. Watch out for forthcoming in person Face Yoga events and classes. I will also be offering one to one Face Yoga classes via Zoom.

To reap the full rewards of Face Yoga takes just a few minutes time and discipline each day. But it is well worth it as the effects can be amazing and you feel better too. Here is a Before and After photo showing the benefits of Face Yoga. The After photo on the right, shows a glowing complexion, improved skin tone, plumper skin, wider, more awake eyes. Please get in contact if you would like further information.
